Default Q: 2wd head...

Hi does anyone know if this is a "special" head or just some one who has made their own "mark"... ??

It says "WARRIOR 1199" on the front as on pic and its moddet on the inletside as far as I can see ??

Also the "turbo hanger mount" has been removed...it actually looks like its never been ¨there ??

Warrior used to make these heads like these for nat asp in the early 80's

I think they might be still trading

I would say it is a warrior head and not sure if coswoth copied it???

Yeah Warrior did. They are brilliant heads. My mate had one on his mk1 escort with a pinto, and they are SERIOUSLY expensive. (like 10k or something). Supposed to be good for 240hp or something.

there was a bloke on turbosport who had one not so long ago on his mk1 (bout 2 years ago) and im sure it cost him nearly 10k, as its actually a warrior cast and not a cossie head.

It's got no numbers on the front where it sais warrior so i'd assume it wasnt a cosworth cast done to warrior spec?

Definately a Cosworth Head.......Could well have been ported by "Warrior" though.
