what do people think of the old honda crx vtec's etc

Quite bad for rotting sadly.

But all the VTEC motors are awesome cars IMHO

 

i work with a guy who has a 1990 ish CRX v-tec

and he doesnt shut up about it

looks pants IMO but if its got 160bhp i bet it goes well enough

engine as said is superb (I've just got a Integra TypeR ) but the CRX is a girls car, end of story!
I looked at getting a Del Sol (folding roof CRX) with an ITR lump, but the CRX is just a cute little girly car

 

Crx i-vt's are cracking little cars, go drive one and you'll realise how shit equivelent fords of the same era really are.

Think of it this way 160bhp n/a out of a 1.6 is fucking good going but to make it MEGA reliable also is just briliant engineering end off

Drive it and see what you make of it. I ve had a ITR and it was wicked great fun to drive.

just get use to ragging the nuts off of it. Its the only way to get them to go. Just make sure you regularily service it..
