In this Months FastFord "summer Issue" on Page 28 there is a star letter, titel "Hard Nuts" anyway in the corner is a pick of a 3dr, mk2 escort, 2 rwd saph's and an Escort Cos with what looks to be a Carbon Fiber Bonnet anyone know who owns this car or where you could get one of them bonnets from or how much they are?

car is quite a nice spec aswell, saw it having a bit of fine tuning up at scottys a year or so back

The bonnet was not as good in the flesh as a Creative Carbon one would be that Dan is organising (or trying to) .

I had the same issue a couple of years ago, but could not get five people to commit the necessary readies to get it done .

when i saw Haydens car the back edges of the bonnet looked like they had been done seperatly, was an obvious line across it.

if the costs of a carbon bonnet via Marcus wasnt stupidly expensive then id have one aswell, asked about this in the past but never got anymore interest than a couple of people.

I'm going to discuss doing the bonnets again and try to confirm the prices and will start another post once I got more info

Marcus's work is top notch IMO and everybody elses too I will try to get some pics of a bonnet if he has got one when I go there

First time I spoke to him about it I didn't think anybodyelse would be interested due to the price but maybe it might

 

cossiemanden, Ronnie, the quality of Marcus's carbon work is second to none.

ive seen one of his 3dr bonnets and it was perfect. if this is replicated with the escort bonnets i doubt there will be an unhappy customer, just customers with lighter bank balances.
