Default RadTec Vs Pro Alloy

well looking into purchasing a intercooler, only prob is the pro alloy one is £400+ new and i believe someone on here is selling a radtec with fans for £340.
so the problem is which one is worth investing into or are they both very similar in terms of performance and getting the best out of the turbo?

Default intercooler

I ran the pro alloy second generation cooler with added turbo cooler on mine which at the power i was running i would give it 10/10. However if i were to get another intercooler it would only be a grs, i went for the pro alloy as it a class bit of kit and can cope with alot.

GRS all the way. I love Pro Alloys workmanship, but the GRS is certainly doing the business on mine and seems to perform better than the Pro Alloy Gen 2 cooler did.

GRS fits perfectly you just need to tilt the rad back slightly with a bracket which comes as part of the intercooler fitting kit.

Then drill a couple of holes in the front panel and your away.

Iv been looking at grs intecoolers, and im sure some one on another thread told me they were £450 plus, but just fount this link

http://www.grsmotorsport.co.uk/ersts2intercoolers.html

It says it £265 for the twin pass, is this the correct one?does it come with a fitting kit which gives you every thing you need to fit it.

Whats difference between twin and single apart from single looking harder to fit with the hoses being opposite sides.

How much do they charge for the slim linke fan?cheers

GRS is £445 all in. that includes 2 x Kenlowe fans.

therefore £90 per fan.

therefore the £265 i'd imagine will come with the fitting kit etc just not the fans.

I usually modify the bonnet release lever to make it slightly easier to get to and so it doesn't club the top of the Intercooler.

It is a squeeze, but worth the extra work to get it in IMO.
