Car speakers...... + and - !!??

On the back of car speakers there are two connections for the speaker wire to connect to, one wide and one thin.

Could someone tell me which one is + and which one is - ?????

doesnt really matter for speakers, as long as you get them the same way round...

Most new speakers come with a short lenth of cable
with the proper connections

usually Wide one is + and thinner one is -
