Upgraded from a samsung D600 to a Nokia 6288 yesterday, great phone so far on "3" by the way

Can you believe im in an area that cant receive full 3g said i wont be able to get it for about a year
Drive 5miles into town and it works perfectly

 

I'm on o2 & you can get full 3g round here

same as broadband i can only get 1meg, its ridiculous anyone would think ive in the Sahara desert or something

Motorola L6 and its so SHITE and slow , fookin screen keeps freezing and response is slow once buttons are pressed


other than that it does what i need it to do

 

LG Prada but its not all that so gone back to the SE W850i.

A mate has the N95 cool phone but hes had it 3 months and is on here 4th one.

I heard the N95 is great, just googled it, sat nav and wifi huh?

I would have got that but it wasnt an option in carphone warehouse on "3" network

 

Same here would have had it too but o2 didnt have any so opted for the e65, luckily its wifi & can be used as satnav if i get a receiver

By the way if any of you use msn messenger on your mobiles id double check exactly whats free and what isnt, i found out on "3" that its free to use(as in you could sit on it all day for free) but you can send 10thousand messages per month.
Nobody would probably send that many messages over msn in a month on your mobile but just thought id warn some of you

Got an N73 and am finding it rather slow. Any one else have this prob ?

 

N95

No problems with software or speed, updated to latest FW 12.03 (biggest improvement is something called agprs or summit, apparently uses normal phone signals as well as sattelites to aid in navigation)

Tomtom mobile 6.1 installed (external bluetooth aerial as Nokia wont release the codes to allow other progs to use the built in gps aerial, maybe summit to do with wanting to charge for using theres )

Plus loads of games and applications

All running sweet as a nut

Downsides

Battery life have managed to flatten a battery in an hour and a half

Oh and the camera, 5 mega pixels my arse, maybe it is but why do they have to compress the image and also fuck about with it before it saves , my old 800i was much better camera

Ye contract to Vodaphone wouldve preffered O2 as get better signals with them ive found but they wouldnt give me the phone for free, not even as an upgrade so i left
As far as 3g goes not good round where I am, down Essex way it meant to be good on Vodaphone but not up here

N73 on 3 until tomorrow when my contract is up

Finally can get rid of this piece of shit phone!!!! Absolute shite never used anything so slow

Looked at upgrade options with 3 and all their handsets are either a) shit b) old or c) old and shit

Only phones with decent camera are K800i and N73 (which have been out for over a year FFS!!)

N95 comes out soon but i'll be fucked if i get another N series phone again.

Moving to O2, want a Sammy U600

 

K800i is a superb phone and wasnt sure i would like the N73. But the N73 on this network is excellent and @ 17.50/month I cant fault it.

1000 texts
300 free mins
£5 of downloads/month (TV/ringtones/games etc)
Skype on the phone
MSN etc

Was spending £30/month on O2.

 

Sounds good, not slow like the chap was saying above? seems the opinion of these vary's.
Also dont forget you cant send over 10thousand messages on msn or your screwed

Nokia 9300i...had it for around 14mnths now...had other phones sent out to me but dont like them so they can stay in their boxes lol Had a Treo and a SPV before this....hated the SPV with a passion, loved the Treo pda, most favourite phone ive ever owned.

 

O2 XDA Exec on T-Mobile unlimited data (£7.50 for unlimited internet!)

The PDA might be a bit big, but its my phone, I have sat nav on it and its AWESOME for browsing/emails

Nothing else on the market comes close

 

nokia n80 as my contract...

and had the pink E900 but hated the touch sensitive thing so got myself a w800i (the phone I miss the most) and took it apart and customised it made it black and chrome. its ace!

So yes I have two phones. lol.

 

So a phone that crashes constantly is something you put up with?

Try taking two pictures one after another, and see if it even loads the camera viewfinder after saving the first pic to the memory. Usually need to reboot is as the screen goes blank and wont even go back to main screen

July the 15th is here and i can phone up and give my notice WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO and it's also my birthday too, good birthday present if you ask me, can get rid of this heap!
