What does your girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/husband/other think about your car. do they get jelous that you spend alot of time and money on it and also lookin on the forums for new parts and advice

mine does

 

me ex used to call the esc cos a ghia with a stupid wing on the back

 

she thinks my GTi is the bollox (altho she'll never say it publically)

i think her fiesta's a shitbox tho

 

love it hate it kind of thing. she'd be pissed if i sold it but she get fed up with all the money that gets spent on it. still she want it as the wedding car at our wedding in september

I was into cars before I met her, for the 6 years we've been together and nothing has changed there except the budget (it's drastically smaller now I'm married )

But she's still pissed off cos she hasn't changed me And she never, ever will....

 

Don't have any problems with cars....

I've got the Evo and Andy has his RS500

 

according to her my car is "my other woman"



she hates everything to do with especially when the car gets its own bank account for odds and sods and she gets nothing

 

Mines loves the cars i drive etc ,totally loved the cossie and was more gutted than me when i sold it

i had the better head on the shoulders by getting rid of it what with a mortgage and a new baby on way i just said ...........

a mortgage and a another kid is bad enough never mind keeping the cossie ..................

thats like having 2 fuckin mortgages

mine causes so much arguments its unreal

becouse id rather spend Ł600 a month on the car than take her somewhere for the weekend or a holiday

 

My girlfriend loves my Capri and has often told me not to get rid of it!

But on the flipside she does hate the idea of me getting Saph Cos though, as she thinks they're rank

My girlfreind orignally hated mine before she really got to know me and why i like them. She mistook me for a boy racer before i explained the difference between people who are passionate about cars and people who buy cars to extend their penis size

These days she is quite fond of it, but everytime i thinking about buying a 328i shes very quick to agree

All in all though she has no problems with my interest in cars - sees it as a better hobby than being down the pub etc

 

as long as i'm happy she is fine................but then again i havn't got tiger stripes......

When we met i was the one with the RS etc... i think thats why we get on well because we share the same (similar) interests

7 years on and we are still going strong

 

She hates my 'Project' with a passion, although she did agree to it having it's own bank acount

On the other hand the focus... Well lets just say she spends more time in it than I do

 

Mine has had about 40 years of fast cars & takes little interest in them.
She has been in my Cossie twice in the 11years ive owned it both times she ended up screaming. Had her own Sports car for a few years & just pootled around in it. Happy for me to carry on with modded cars as long as I dont cramp her interests.

Yep! she found some & im leaving in the morning & travelling 150 miles to pick them up & she will come with me .

Ive always been into cars though even before we met, so its 2nd nature, dont mind him doing anything to it, working on it etc

oh and i drive it more than him

 

Well first of all they're OUR cars and second he better not take the FRS when it's MY week to drive it

 

You have to let them know the pecking order, these come first
