PERFORMANCE FORD GO TO GATEBIL WITH REYLAND, FIELD & ZOO
I thought I might as well take advantage of modern technology and give everyone a regular update when I can on the guys progress to Rusdkogen in Norway.
For those that don't know we (Performance Ford Magazine) have been working with the guys at Gatebil for quite a time now to get some of the UK boys over to 'The Lion's Den' as it were.
A lot of hard work looks to be paying off and you'll be able to read about their progress here, and of course exclusively in Performance Ford Magazine in the very near future. This is the first time anything like this or on this scale has been tried, so we're treading into the unknown somewhat, but we're confident the Norwegian's will like a bit of competition and this will certainly be a spectacle no Ford fan should miss. (Buy the mag and wait for the new PF DVD and you won't though
)
It all started this morning when we tried to cram in 4 people and 4 lots of camping gear, camera equipment and video gear into an S-Max! Ignore the waving idiot btw!
Believe it or not people were looking on in amazement as we managed to get it all in, although it's a wee bit low now!

As you can see this has now been officially dubbed our 'Pimp' bus!

The guys have just got on the Ferry now, but here are some pics, live from the Ferry port showing Martin Hadland and his stuning Escort Cosworth, Tommy Field's WRC Escort and of course the Bromster's 3-Door Cossie from this months cover.

Nick was even kind enough to sticker up Fensport's car for them, too!

I'll be getting updates so watch this space as they all travel onward through Denmark, Sweden and then to Norway to hopefully, ruffle a few feathers!!!

Alex, have you been reading Torgeir's blogs per chance?
That 'Might' be one of the many things we have planned for this years show.
It really is a shame more UK Ford-nuts won't be able to make it over... If you've still not decided, book a cheap flight and get over there as this is going to be the best modified car show, ever!
(For anyone that won't get to Norway this time there is always a special offer in the latest mag to get to September's Rudskogen meeting for just Ł379)

Apparently they thought it would be funny to shut Nick in a cupboard... LOL

Everyone's found the bar now and is relaxing before the drive tomorrow. More updates then!

Coming home is a bit longer I think as it's all in one go.
