you will get used to it, start with less than you are doing currently is probably a good idea.

Your making the beginners mistake mate by over training.

Train on alternate days and you will see justas much improvement as muscle needs time to rebuild. Training when tired can be dangerous. Make ure you eat some protien within an hour of training to give you muscle something to rebuild with and prevent them from canibilising lean muscle tissue to rebuild.

you need a day inbetween if your a beginner, try a protein drink too cos they aid recovery. Almods have plenty of protein in them too.

Just buy a copy of mens health

Lean meats are the best, chicken, turkey and like you said, fish.

Protien drinks are good as they have Amino acids which aid muscle recovery. Try Fortress Pro-Whey Protien from Holland and Barretts, drink it with milk not water as the milk is source of protien to and makes it taste nice

Tesco sell protein shake powder if you are really stuck! Not sure what make it is or if it is any good. It's not own brand though so probably good stuff!

DOMS... thats what you are suffering from. Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. No real cure I am afraid. Nurofen will help you...

Go to the gym tonight but don't hit the weights hard. Gentle jog or a Cycle and then 30 mins stretching will also help the recovery process.

To prevent in future make sure you warm up and down properly... and stretch, stretch and stretch some more before, during and after training.

Don't over train and once you start getting really into, look at split training. eg One day train back and bi's. The next day Chest and tris... next shoulders and legs etc.. Gives body a chance to recovery. Always lots of stretching and warming up and warming down don't forget.

Try MONO HYDRATE CREATINE also when you do weights.
For best results it needs to be taken with warm water and a teaspoon of sugar to make sure it is absorbed, otherwise it will just run out your bum(poo).
TUNA is ace as protein as is turkey/chicken, fish is acer also but be careful of CHOLESTEROL in shellfish, the oilier the fish the better.
Change to FLORA PRO ACTIVE which has OMEGA 3/6/9 +plant sterols.
Alternate your training so it is weights one day CV the next, CV is way more important than weights, DON'T worry about your weight as you build muscle it WILL go up A LOT, muscle is 3 1/2 times heavier than fat for size.
Don't over do it, your GYM should be able to do you a suitable programme.
Don't be tempted to cheat(steriods) it can be very dangerous.
I took blue dianobol for two years, and have some health problems now as a result.
Make sure you DO CV as it is more important than weights, but will help your muscle as well as general health.
Try to go with someone else as it is a big motivator.

steroids such a sustanon can be used in moderation, with good gains and minimal health issues if you eat, train, exercise and rest properly.

i wouldnt touch oral tablets such as anabol, dianabol etc

there are a lot of different steroids, one's much safer than others.

people who dont go to the gym think that steroids are an overnight cure and make you like arnie lol little do they know.

regarding supplements, ive tried and tested almost every 'miracle' supplement under the sun, costing literally thousands of pounds and years of my time.

Whey Protein does the trick. the more you pay for it, the nicer it tastes. but just because it costs more DONT think it will work 'better'.

ive used super expensive, and ive used 'cheap' raw whey protein bought in bulk. only difference was taste. gains were the same.

creatine is over rated. i can see the scientific evidence etc but even after prolonged, intense, acurate usage i just couldnt see what the hype was all about.

my advice is to get a middle of the range Whey Protein and train hard, with CV inbetween/after a workout and a couple of days rest a week to recover. you MUST train specific muscle groups HARD on certain days, giving them time to repair.

robski, they seem expensive.

try www.cybercheckout.com

the cheapest, best tasting, highest protein content whey protein shakes ive found are by nutri-sport (they are stocked in a local nutricion store), and i can get 5kg for Ł45. 2 scoops per shake, contains 45g of protein per shake.

bearing in mind the site u mention above is selling whey protein for Ł29.99 for 1kg, i challenge you to show me (apart from taste) that the Ł45 for 5kg stuff isnt as good.

I get my protein much cheaper than that, it mixes easily & has no flavouring or sweetners etc (hardly any taste to it) & is top quality stuff

I pay around Ł35 for 5kg but that's because i get it through a friend who orders loads of it for a few people - the more you order the cheaper it gets

i used to trqain 5 days a week 1 day for each muscle section then two days off,
i never used any sort of aids.no protien shakes,no caffiene drinks or roids.

decent meals worked for me,normal cereal/toast at brekkie, healthy sandwich at lunch or pasta salads then loads of chicken and fish and rice after training.done me fine always had energy and felt good.

if you like tuna thats a good one but i hate it.

i eat protein within 20mins of finishing a workout, only currentley on 45k but been going it for 3weeks, due to my size 19st i tend to eat around 40grams of of protein normally a tin of tuna mixed with mayo on a jacket spud or a chicken breast with a little pasta.

around 35 grams of protein in a tin of tuna, 45 in a chicken breast, dry roasted nuts are a better alternative than salted, all the shakes souldn't really be needed until after a 3 month period as your muscles are just getting used to being used.

i disagree. if you rip a muscle, you need to give it 'food' to repair, ie. protein. whether in your first week or 30th week.

i know that getting protein from food is the better way fo doing things, but it can become too much effort and also become very expensive.

if you dont mind preparing food and planning meals for the day with balanced intakes of protiens and carbs etc then good on ya, i havent got the time or the patience to fart around making meals and taking messy meals to the shop to take in half the protien i could from 2 shakes.

in comparison, it takes a lot of food (and relatively expensive foods such as chicken breast, steak, fish etc) to get the same protein as 1 shake.

If you hurt, use the cross trainer - 0% impact on joints.

DOMS is normal, if you don't warm down, which I don't.

if your not a serious trainer then yes any old protein shake is better than nothing but dont be fooled by thinking its al the same cos its not if you drink a shitty protien drink from the lights of nutrisport you will not put on the kind of wieght you want.a protien supplement is just that you use it to supplement you food intake its al down to to calories and getting the right ones so if you eat shit calories you will put the wrong type of wieght on and the same goes for your protien powder dont even bother if your going to take a shit supplement when youve got a choice for something better.

ive been training for 5 years, trained with serious meat heads, trained with athletes etc

whey protein is whey protein. other shakes taste better/mix better/have additional nutrients, but whey protein is whey protein.

i challenge anyone to prove different. comparing it to 'good' and 'bad' calories is like comparing a block of cheese to a condom.

i spent a year on metrex supreme whey protein (quite expensive) and over a year on cheaper brands such as nutri-sport and also buying raw whey protein from a supplier, my strength/weight increases on eithe rproducts were no different, with steady progress in both departments.

bloody hell, i can tell why people do the wrong thing at the gym with such sloppy advice LOL

"after" ?!

one in the morning, one in the afternoon (about an hour before working out), one after working out (within 30 mins) and one before bed.

this is when i take them, but i train heavily.

and by god does it bloat me.
