hey yall. im wanting my RS repainting the same colour... but wheres the best place in yorkshire to take it to? and whats the average price for a full outer respray??

Robo in Bolton he has just done Cossiemikes RS500 and also done StickerPauls Saph and the Divas ESCOS as well as his own ESCOS Which are all mint jobs !!!

well i will have the car fully prepared before it goes for the respray, i will remove all the dents sort the rust ect out and primer it as i have the equipment, but dont trust my self on the top cote,, so all i will really require is it blowing over with paint and lack..

how much did you guys pay for your resprays??

im in no rush.. as i will be preparing it ect..

 

to just put the paint on should be around Ł500 mate as all the hard work is done it should take 2 days to aply paint flat it and polish it

Ł500 really?? i was expecting around Ł900 - Ł1500

yeah, i'll deffo have all the dents and stuff removed, also i will have it primered and rubbed back flat, the old man is a ex mechanic and MOT tester so he'll be doing the welding ect,

but yeah all i want is the Paint and lacquer.. on the out side

Autoshine were the bollox years ago, bot sure if they are the same. Do you remeber their blue escort van with s1 kit painted white and faded into the blue? Was cool back then... I was nobbing his daughter

 

only thing is mate its the prep that makes the job so if your realy good then go for it if not pay the 1500 and get it all done properly cos your car is a metalic and not that easy to prep for to look mint

 

I have a mate who owns a bodyshop in Bradford, near the football ground...

He's not well known or anything, but he's well into his fords (FRS Owner) and makes a bloody good job.

We were VERY close to being flooded, all Stoneyford road and ings road got it, and a few on our estate

TBH ive not seen many RS round here for a bit or i may not have been looking if ya get me! Saw a nice moonstone saff in town a few weeks since But thats about it
