hi every just new to this site and was hopeing someone here might be able to help me out. ive got a 06 focus st2 with an oil leak. its been to the dealers twice already an they said they got it sorted. unfortunetly when i went to get into it today i noticed oil on my driveway again i would be very greatful if someone had any input about this so i can go back the the dealership knowing what im talking about and get it fixed. thanks

 

sadly its impossible to say mate without seeing it!

best thing to do would be to get under there and have a look yourself i spose! see if you can see where it is comng from..


just keep takin it back lol they HAVE to fix it in the end surely!

And tell em u paid £20000 and are going to Top Gear, Watchdog and 5th Gear to moan if its not done by Friday.

 

when i colected it the last time from the dealership they told me it was the crank shaft sensor that was leaking so they replaced it. problem now is its seems to be leaking worse than ever now just hopeing it will get sorted out soon because i want to bring it to ford fair

 

where was it leaking from before that?

 

from the back of the engine i think. when i looked under it i could see where the oil was dripping off the engine cover

 

Tell em its ruined ure driveway aswell

 

is it engine oil or power steering fluid as i've heard that the PS pipework has failed on quite a few '06 cars....

there are a few people aswell that have had leaks from the oil pressure sender on teh back of the engine...

either way, the warranty should still cover it

 

Kick off big time mate they will lick your ring piece if you threaten them with court action for damage to your drive.

 

Mae worked for the parts department brought a new engine was leaking gasket when delivered

FORD JUST REPLACED IT AND SAID CONTAMINATED
let him keep it so changed the gasket and got a spare engine for sod all
tell thenm to come pick it up with a replacement !!
