plenum spacer do they work ?

Default plenum spacer do they work ?

hi just wondering if a plenum spacer would help when aiming for 480 bhp cossie engine ? ive seen 10mm and 14mm available.
anyone got any experiences with them good or bad ?

I asked this question a while back, and from speaking to various racy people who do big power cossies, it was the mass opinion that they help above around 400 bhp, but not needed below, no one gave me actual figures though!!

some also say that the spacers make the differens of airflow between the sylinders even bigger than original.

the 14mm spacer is a easier fit out of the 2 as you can bolt the fuel rail on the back of the lugs the 10mm one will put the rail on the piss if you try to do the same.

I got one but for the power i wanted i didnt never got arounf to using it. Most seemed to say over 450bhp it would help you get that little bit more before upgrading to a different manifold.
