Default Inlet Manifold gaskets...

AS title - what do you guys recommend? - looks like mine is leaking (which I hope may be a reason for the prob's i've been having - although I have re-gapped the phase sensor, and now it starts as it should )
Basically, if you spray carb cleaner over the inlet - head join on cylinder 4 the engine note changes a fair bit. I am correct in thinking inlet gasket aren't I?

Where did you get the gaskets from chap? I'm guessing mr Rainbird may be a good bet?

Also, just how much of a pig of a job is this to do? - I have a horrid feeling that its going to be a complete arse of a job

COMETIC all the way, done all of mine with these and reusable all of them, including water pump one.
They do not creep or anything.

nope you can get the inlet manifold off without taking the cover off.

you can just about get your arm under the manifold to get the nuts off its not that difficult TBH.

4-5 nuts on the top or 4-5 underneth......you need smal hand and a small spanner.

dizzy cp and rotor arm off, leads out of the way and you should get it.

do the bottom ones first.
