Our man simon had a problem Bent valves on the way to the AVA this morning. Me and a few of the lads got him going again, and he set of for the 80mile run home without getting the car on the rollers, not heard if he got home without bother though.

On the plus side, WHAT A CAR!! that thing is insane! just so balls out, everything about it is proper nuts.

Simon comes across as a very experianced an clever fellow, all the wee touches on the car are very cool! Hats off to him

yip simon bent valves as far as i know going from 5th to 2nd

No pics chop, didnt take cam/was only there for 30 mins, they'd jus finnished running up the RST's and a Focus ST when I left, focus ST made 247@wheels and Wul youngs made 260@wheels iirc!

Just in from AVA and it was a good day.

Met Simon this morning about 8:30 for the run from falkirk to AVA, and his car was flying, REALLY fast.

Im usually pretty good at guessing the power cars make at AVA and I would estimate it about 330 ATW considering it was taking the piss out of the evo I was driving that made 252 ATW.

I didnt even know he had a problem until we pulled into the AVA car park.

Only got a few pics as I was too busy chatting to everyone

Ive doen one for Fast Ford an Performance Ford and they were not bothered about the power getting posted on the boards.

 

Fast ford are covering it but there was no mention of keeping the figures hush hush today. There was nuthing to realy shout home about anyway, best fwd was 260 and 4wd was 283 i think.

 

I got 248 atw
