If it was a L plate, then it was either a 3.6 normally aspirated, or a 3.3 or 3.6 Turbo (L plate was the change over year). Genuine Turbo's are few and far between...
it deffo wasn't a turbo. it had a high pitched whine when he booted it.
i want to know how much power they are so i can compare to mine (as i dunno what i've got atm)

is that the stats for the 3.6 or 3.3? they must weight a fair bit then?
i thought mine was only about 230-240bhp (as i'm waiting for injectors before i turn the boost right up) but i also raced a Fiat Coupe that everyone says is tuned to 300BHP (it couldn't have been as i kept with it).
the guy in the Porker gave me a nod and thumbs up
