sierra cosworth brakes to fit an escort mk6
i have some cosworth brakes from a sierra 4x4.
i am putting a zvh in it and need better stopping power
jus asking if they will fit the escort without any problems. ive benn told the calipers need spacing but thats all.

hmm these 260mm brake 28mm thick? if so the calipers should bolt on and you can use escort rs2000 brake discs...
but if you running any kind of power fit escos front stoppers or ST170 300mm setup
this assumes your talking mk5 as you don't say, if your mk3/4 fit some sierra cosworth 2wd 4pots... these are cheap enough to pick up

thats for mk3/4's tabetha...
the 2wd calipers aren't a straight forward fit onto a mk5/6
heres what you need:
4x4cosworth calipers, escort or sierra casting marks of 888 and 887 (these can also be found on mk1/2 mondeo V6's)
278mmx24mm 4WD sierra/escort cosworth brake discs
mondeo 93 onwards brakes hoses (for a mk6 escort due to female fitting to brake pipe)
some brake caliper bolts about 5mm longer
and 5mm's worth of spacers (washers) to sit the caliper centrall over the disc
i did this conversion yesterday... but i had to space my wheels out 8mm and grind a bit off the face of the caliper to give reasonable clearance this was with mk6 rs2000 alloys which are dished in... most 15" wheels will clear them.
