so............u have to get in the car and bend over the passenger seat...plug a thing in and then start the car..????...............na i'm not convinced..........

 

does it have any holes in teh dash or anything

as it could be a port for a phone charger or something

 

Maybe the guy had a fit mate and it was his excuse to look up her skirt when he had to start his car!!!

 

It will be the override for an alarm/immobiliser. My mate has one similar in his Delta, if the battery goes dead in the fob then by plugging the fob into the plug it takes the immobiliser off so you can start the car.

Or I could be completely wrong and it is for your neons and lighty up washer jets.

when i had a cobra alarm (another car) it had a plug in over ride point...a lot smaller but.....yeh it could be....

 

Looks like a dodgy old Argos immobiliser I had years ago
