Default piston skimming in west midlands

could any1 reccomend any good places to have my pistons skimmed?

they are for an 1800 zvh, would rather do this than use a decomp plate but its a case of finding somewhere to do them propperly.

thanks,

ben.

Pistons will be more prone to letting go when skimmed, and I dont think you can run any more than a bar of boost on them

Thats if your on about Zetec pistons?

ye they are standard 1800 zetec pistons.

so i'd be better going for a decomp plate then?

if so what are the options? the water ways in the bottom end have already been blanked off propperly with brass pieces, so what headgasket would i be best going for?
