just got a spa one throu today and it has no instructions


anybody know where the receiver needs to be placed?


internal / external?


was hoping to put it on the rear view mirror or top of the dash

Works on I R beam so just needs line of sight to the transmitter.

why is that? is it cos its not a race



its for track days to start but hoping to race it when i get use to driving it again


the fastest thing i driven lately is a 1.4 tdci fiesta


i wont turn it on then

In a nut shell mate, trackdays are non competative... They stipulate that you are not allowed too use timing devices, I think there is a section in most disclaimers, I know some trackdays will stop you from running if you are caught with one on...

Not only that but you will need a transponder out on the track somewhere, and if it's a track day the circuit ones will probably not be switched on.
