Default Got hold of Photoshop. Fcuked if I can use it LOL

This has got to be the hardest thing to get used to in the world

I can't even resize something I've stuck on top of a picture

I'm starting to go through an online tutorial thing (not the photoshop one, because that assumes you are a genious)

Can anyone suggest something to teach me the basics?

i have had photoshop for about 3 years now, and all i can do it, re-size, lightern or darkern pics, and turn background to black and white

its the hardest thing i have used. and as you say, the tutorials think your an expert at it.

i just play with it, and see what happens

alot of people get confused with the layers, one tip, always name your layers as you go along as it can get very confusing with 40+

the "edit" drop down menu is a good menu! if you go to the "transform" then you can rotate, resize and skew your photo's by numerical values, so you are'nt doint it by eye

also if you are trying rotate teh picture after pressing Ctrl + T, hold shift down, it jumps by 45degrees at a time, so you can getr it straight!

LOL. It's not that hard. Well, not to do the basic stuff anyway.

I'm self-taught and can build animated gif's etc on there now.

After only literally a couple of hours reading what you've all linked to etc. I've been able to come up with this - I'm quite pleased

you can download a 30 day trial version from www.adobe.com or you can buy the full version for around £600

(or you can download a dodgy version from most torrent places but i didnt say this)
