anyone else going? 10 of us flying over show starts on wednesday and finishes sunday, gonna be mental i'm actually seriously excited about seeing the blue escos in action

Is there a closer airport than Oslo to fly into? whats best way of getting to the track from there?

 

oslo is the closest airport and the track is about an hour drive. we,re getting the train there.

 

ask for some of the norweigan guys and pay their petrol i,m sure they would help out ,if i wasnt going to the u.k next wednesday i,d have picked you up porkie , i live about 40 minutes in sweden,dont get taxis!!!!!car hire mabye a possibility?

its about 1.5 hours drive IF YOU DO HIRE A CAR,KEEP TO THE SPEED LIMIT ,THE POLICE IN NORWAY ARE VERY,VERY HARSH!

Cool, see you there.... I will be the one drifting the Reyland Escort around the entire track at supersonic speeds and generally making the Norwegian regulars seem like they are in slow motion...

I will also be doing this whilst waving BOTH hands out the windows.... If they are lucky enough and applaud loudly I may even do a 'Terry Grant' and drift around the entire track whilst sitting on the roof

you could get a train from oslo airport to the city, but unlikely to get to the circuit by train, it's in the middle of nowhere.

for a rental car, rent a wreck are very reasonably priced (for norway) as they don't use brand new cars. they're not really wrecks, just not new.

very jealous. i loved it when i went and the weather was like we've been having lately although it was the september meet. hopefully it will be better for you all

think you'll be surprised by the speed of some of the other cars there. i don't know how fast the reyland escort really is, but i doubt it will make the others look slow

 

We were seriously considering this, but J didn't believe me when I told him it was in July not September (that the Dutch Ford one)

we were thinking of renting a rwd hire car or two for the craic, but theres ten of us now might still get one and ferry to the track

I won't rent a car as I can barely find my way around my home town let alone drive somewhere foreign on the wrong side of the road

Who you flying with because there's two airports that list Oslo, one and the top which we're all flying into and one at the bottom that Ryanair fly too which is out the way unless your swimming has improved.
