"At the end of the day!"
Ahhhhhhhh, God, why do people have to say "At the end of the day" all the time? Have you ever counted how many times you hear it on the Jeremy Kyle show? It's unreal.
It's almost as though people get into a habit of saying it. The same as when peole say "Know waa mean", I always say "Yes, I know what you mean"
So is "At the end of the day" like a pre statement before you make a quote? Or is it just a Chav talk thing?

As mentioned, footballers and football commentators are shocking at using crap tired cliches like that
"we're just going to take it one game at a time"
what....as opposed to playing two games at once? that'd be hard surely

It is a phrase that I use, but I am very aware of it. I think these sayings are OK, until they are over-used.
There are loads of Norfolk mannerisms which bug the hell out of me too. Such as this.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, I spoke to Steve and he go "What are you doing today?"
and I go "not alot", so he go "shall we go out?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
GO??!! It's 'SAY' or 'SAID'.

i hate it when people say this... it just highlighs how racist they actually are.... its like trying to justify what they just said(usually a racist comment)... if you aint racist then dont say racist things... simple as really...

People who put the word 'alright' between every sentence too.
Jeremy Kyle
'I don't mean to be funny'
but watching Trisha and the Jeremy Kyle show the other day whilst I had a day off work, I notice that they are always a bunch of weirdos on there, they're usually jobless, have numerous kids with countless different people, sleeping with their Mums husband, addicts of some kind, unintelligent and foul mouthed!
Probably because 'normal' people wouldn't dream of airing their dirty on national TV, I find myself watching the characters in disbelief, not that I'm a snob or anything

More probably "WASN'T"
"I wasn't there"
Wan't is a yorkshire-style speech..pronounced 'want': I want there..in yorkshire speech is a quicker "I wasn't there"
"weren't" is plural. As in "he and she weren't there".
