i know its a long shot but if any of you have done a fossie what sort of price has it cost
just wondering and what price are you looking at for a coverted shell like off A1.

if i remember right A1 charge £1200 for the focus shell

and about £2500 for all the fabrication to accept 4wd or rwd running gear

all these are plus vat, i'd guess and are from memory so cant confirm them

if i had a little more money i'd build one of these myself

My friend had a motorsport brand new focus shell, with a rebuilt engine, big tooth box and decent diff, looms and everything he was upto around £15K and still had a fair bit to do before he decided to call it a day.

He was going from scratch though.

Look at £4K - £5K for shell.

It does seem to take a long time to bolt together as you have to fabricate as you go

i got a quote for fabrication from andy galagher for round about £3k wich is a very good price if you think about all the fab that goes into it
