Hi,
I am on the search for a sierra cosworth and have found one to go and view, however the fella who owns it is not sure if its a 200 or a 205 block.

How can i tell them apart just buy looking?
I’m guessing the number will be stamped on the block but I am not 100% sure?

Any help here would be great!!

As you say number IS on side of the block.

205 will be marked in big letters on the side
