yeah i'd say they are worth it, they are meant to be really hard to remove (& thief's know this)

they did a test n it took 20min to remove it whereas the next closest one too it took about 2min

get one of ebay i paid Ł50 brand new for one

A guy up here who used to steal cars tell's everyone to buy them as generally theives wont bother with them as they take too long to get off.

worth it just as a deterrent, and it adds to your security layers, so if they get past the alarm, they then have to break that off as well, which adds a lot to the time/noise/ chances of being nabbed etc

My car has a tracker, cat 1 alarm/immob, gearlock, disclock, and as an added deterrent at the moment no fooking engine

nope loos s, think thats the way its meant to be, freely moving to stop you getting decent leverage off it

also too loose to drive with it if you cut the arm off

i dont doubt that, i could get it of in a few min's, but the noise and attention you would draw is the deterent, and time factor to doing it quitely

i belive there is a mod to make them harder to get off? but dont know whats involved?

15 mins in comparisin to under 20 secs is a long time..

most thieves can knick a car in seconds/ a minute or two, so if it makes the process a whole lot longer, then it can only be a good thing

Brilliant things.

Got one for my Capri which I thought was a smart move as it could probably be stolen with a toothpick
