Default efi flywheel question

when the bottom pulley timing mark is lined up with the timing mark on the cam belt cover so its showing tdc, where should the missing tooth on the flywheel be,should it be lined up with the cps or should it be before or after the cps

just wondering why ur asking as the flywheel will only go on one way due to its staggered hole positions.
and as far as i remember the double hole is before the cps

so if i line the bottom pulley up with tdc the missing tooth on the flywheel wil be at the bottom of the flywheel yeh,the reason im asking is because ive had a timing light on my car and its showing 60degrees of advance so just trying to make sure everything is ok before i take it to be setup

You cannot get the flywheel wrong due to the offset of the bolts as chunt69 mentioned

Yeah that sounds right...

What ECU you got?

Some older timing light simply show wrong witha wasted spark ignition. It wouldn't run with 60deg advance anyway. If the timing light has an adjustabel advance trim, then set it to zero and read the advance from the pulley marks.

if i set the timing light at zero i cant get a reading from the bottom pulley as the timing mark is to far round before the timing marks on the lower cam belt cover
