Default Help valueing a car.......(not a for sale post)

Ok i have been offered a 1988 xr2 in white with one lady owner from new and the car is as it left the factory .....never had paint or been welded....

the lady owner has died and the car has been offered to me but what sort of money is it worth???????

the lad that is selling it has not got a clue what it is worth but will not give me a price he wants me to make him an offer.....

I wouldn't say its worth more than £1000 / £1500 at the very max if its minty mint.

Its impossible to say. Could be worth anything from a couple of hundred to a couple of grand. No one can put a value on it without seeing some decent close up photos AT LEAST.

Just offer him a couple of hundred quid and take it from there. I hate people who dont want to give you a price when selling a car! If they really dont know what its worth, then why not do some research to find out a rough figure at least.

Its an xr2....................£40 scrap value or the current keeper can pay to hav it took away.

few hundred mate, thing is with a car like that, it can be anywhere from 500-1000 whether its high milage high owners witn parking dents or a minta like that
