It IS gonna be a bit of a monster if it ever appears again lol.
but. the tuscan, noble, clio V6 and the lowrider have kept him amused in the mean time lol..
EDIT: that guy with the Bluesprint esc cos at last TOTB brunters qualifying told us he waited 18 months for his 600 engine.... so Niges should be ready annnnny day now lol

Ive always thought bluesprint have had a good turn around with building engines tbh a good friend of mine has had 2 well specced yb's built by joe now and he has no complaints with the quality of work or the time it has taken, the only time ive heard ppl complain is when the person who is getting the engine built keeps on changing there mind on the spec they want hence the build time taking longer
Guys
I normally refrain from commenting on these types of posts but feel I have to add something to this - having been 'involved' at the beginning!!
I have to agree with Paul16v's comments in that Bluesprint have had to change thing after thing after thing about this build due to Nige constantly changing his mind about various aspects of the build. Plus the fact that there have been various bits that have been supplied by Nige himself that do not fit properly and have had to be modified first. A dummy engine has been offered in the bay god knows how many times to see if the turbo and manifold etc will even clear the bonnet!!
This in conjunction with the fact that Nige has refused point blank to go down and see the car in progress and discuss specs and various points of detail even once. So before people with little knowledge jump on the bandwagon and say how long it has been down there, you need to know all the facts. When I was first dealing with this - Nige once changed his mind about the turbo spec 3 times in one DAY.
Since it has been there he added this and changed that and now added transmission, a hydraulic clutch set-up and full spec fuel system etc etc and what started as a "basic" 500bhp style engine swap has ballooned into something considerably different. Anyone who visits Bluesprint regularly will see the car is tucked away in safe hands and I'm sure that when finished it really will be awesome but it chaffs my arse me when I read a thread slating a tuner when only one side of the story is put up!!
As I have said before, Nige needs to go and discuss this with Bluesprint and see the implications that constant spec changes have, along with supplying parts that often dont just fall into place without mods.
For the record, I had my own engine done by Bluesprint in 2001 and I also made the mistake of along the way adding transmission - diffs + gearbox, new coilover suspension, bigger brakes all round plus numerous engine spec changes (8-injector high comp+ dizzyless etc) and it took over 15 months for that but when I got it back it went like snot off a stick and was very quick indeed. So I'm sure that Nige's car will be awesome when it does resurface.
Just thought I'd put people in the true picture - again.
