Looked all over the place and can seem to see any


Anyone got any pics of where abouts the oil filter is located as i dont have access to ramps atm and wanted to check how easy it was to access to it

 

No Haynes manuals for any Cosworths as far as I know m8
Look on E-Bay for cosworth manuals on a CD to put in computer

Oil filter is underneath the inlet manifold,pretty easy to remove

 

As said oil filter is dead easy, on std pinto place, just unscrews, FORD EFL 298 filter if you need one.
I have spoken to HAYNES and it has not been produced in anywhwere near enough numbers to warrant production of a manual for it.
That said it's only sierra running gear mostly with basic engine design, pretty much all you can get off the disc mentioned.

Here ya go - with the engine out its easy to see. Its the white one that sits in front of the two blue pipes - that fit onto the oil cooler. The pipe from the sump is not normally there to get in the way so it should be easy to spot / get to

The engine mount can bruise your knuckles mind you ...
