Default TOTB?? What up with it??????

Was thinking, i have just postet a vid of another cossie from sweden that does a low 10 sec time, and i know a few others that does wery low 11sec and high 10sec times, but then i look at the british and irish cars in here, and there seems to be a LONG time between them doing low 11sec?
Why is this?
It seems that u guys are more up to buying "the right parts" and breaking the cars instead of using them for real, like theese sweedes does?
This is not a dig, and i sctually admire that u have some of the most finest cosworths in the world, but why all this buffing breaking and selling instead of using them for what they are build for?
It seems like it is the same few that actualy does what all you guys should be doing?

just my 50 cents

Why is it a pain in the ass?
Both conny and fredde drive thair cars on vacation in denmark, norway and germany aso, i use mine everyday also?
Off course it isent so comftable but is works wirhout problems, only changing oil and plugs for about every 3k km?

I think it`s a bad rep that they cant stand everyday abuse with racing and also have wery big power
It actually can buy the way

Why? You only get problems when the idiots and short sighted people don't upgrade other parts of the car to accomodate the increase in power!

I don't know mate, probably not many, but again, i've got 2 words for you.... Closed Loop

I've got it, it's not expensive and it straight away solves the problem, regardless of spec and power, of shite fuel consumption in cossies!

if i could afford big power i would but at the moment my car struggles for traction with only 282bhp in the wet. and its wet a lot up here. big power that you talk of isnt very practicle for an everyday runaround which is why i have set my target power low. 350-360bhp is what im aiming for and in a rwd estate i think thats more than enough

That is what i´m trying to get them to, but it will cost about 3grand in total to get the car to england and home again, and that is twice what they use on a hole season in sweden and norway, so i can understand why they wont.
It`s really an issue about money

Many people with alleged big bhp cossies in the uk end up with red faces when it comes to the crunch and their cars deliver piss poor times

then everyone realises its pub talk drivel figures they have been spouting!

good thread

what kinda power mate..

yh petrol is so expensive.. itsnot worth having a 400bhp + cossie when a 330bhp does the same job on the roads..

but then agen 400+ would be nice

Right now about 150bhp, but if u missed it then i wrote i have an management problem?
When this problem is fixed it should be at 600+bhp on 98ron, thats what the engine is specced for.
But hey, why should you belive a dane?

I use my car as much i can, have had it for 7 years now, have got 3 titles as denmarks fastest car, was the first one to race against streetbikes, but this engine is pulling my hair out, and i`m doing it all my self.
That`s why i havent got any results yet, but they will come.

Seeing as i'm still on a T3 all be it a Hybrid Turbo, Stu estimates the power to be around the 320bhp mark, certainly no more, dependant on boost it's probably around 310/315

BTW, its punchy as fuck!

This sounds like to be the same problem as the cosworth owners in denmark, they have the cars, they have a LOT of fun, but am scared of going to some competetions because of maybe they would loose?

Come on, it isent about winning, its about having fun

To be fair,

Kevin's old Escos is more impressive then the 10.2 escos from over the water.

10.3 with less power and road tyres.
