just bought this beauty for £50 started some work on it

some good some bad obviously the bad points are my down days

get that corner sorted needs a set of original alloys not sure which yet though (not peppers)

getting lowered thinking of a side opening bonnet

gonna fully smooth the boot and de lock the boot only

thinking of turbo'ing it

but not sure how it will handle cheers

any suggestions/ replies / comments all welcome .

 

The car is in quite bad condition there mate, i would say to you instead of trying to conquer that particular car i would have saved the pennys you have spent on panels etc and bought a solid shelled xr2. They are hard to find i no that from experiance but holding out for the right one has never proved me wrong. With regards to turbo'n them its a doddle and handling will not be lost, just put a set of decent performance shocks and springs on the car and show them saxos how to go on. Side opening bonnet will be great modification and something diffrent which is always good. They really are excellent cars with the right set up can match anything around the streets.
