Default what oil for everything 4x4 cos

what oil shoudl i be looking at to get for

engine
gearbox
front diff
rear diff
transfer box

i pm oilman about 3 weeks ago and no reply

so could anyone gove me some details on what i should be getting so i can get them this week please

gearbox ,transfer box and both diffs i use FULLY synthetic 75/90 mate ,doesnt burn in the front diff like normall diff oil

hmm

ive always known to use atf in transfer,

what about the stuff designed for the box by mt75 by comma?

Engine - Silkolene pro s 10/50

Gearbox and diffs - Silkolene boa 90 ls.

Transfer box - atf

As recommended by opie oils.

the mt75 stuff goes waaaaaaaaaay to thin when hot.

all the gearbox specialist i spoke to recommend fully synthetic 75/90 including barra who built my mullit box. ive been using it for 20k no probs ,seems to keep the box quieter to.

As above, dont use ATF in the transfer box, use a gear oil.

does it matter what brand?

whats this hypoid stuff aswell as i have 2 bottles of that on my shelf i bought for the rear diff, but this was going by the workshop manual

ok so gear oil it is for transfer box then

so loads of 75/90 for transmission parts

what about engine

i usually use comma 10/40 i think semi synthetic but that was on my old engine

this engine i dont know alls i know is the engine was running excellent and everything internallly is like brand new still

so want to keep it that way
