My son, who has just turned 3, throws left handed. He draws mainly with his left hand but being three, when he uses his right, he is still a bad drawer but prefers to use his left. He uses his fork in his right hand, whereas right handed people use their left to eat. People say he is too young to say for sure but we think he must be. Come on lefties. does this sound like a little leftie in the making ? I have asked the family and there does'nt seem to be any left handers in the family at all, or would this not matter ? Mind you, my mate is right handed but plays darts left handed. What's that all about
im left handed, do everything else with right hand apart from write though, hold fork in left hand ( thats etiquette got nothing to do with left or right handedness
)
i am right footed though
also my son is 4 and he still uses alternate hands to write and eat

I'm a fucking freak
I am prodominantly left handed : I use my left hand to write/draw...
BUT! - I use cutlery "normally" - fork in left hand, knife in right. But! I would carve something, or cut vegetables etc, with a knife in my LEFT hand, not my right. I also throw with my right arm, but catch with my left
I am also right footed, as in kick with my right and naturally lead with my right foot....
Told you I was a freak
Musical instruments are a good example here. I can't even hold a guitar properly if it is a "normal" right handed guitar - I need a left handed guitar.
But for drums, I play a right handed kit. Initally I played leading with my left hand, but over time I taught myself to be ambidexterous, to lead with both right and left hands, and with both right and left feet
Confused yet?
Oh yeah - scissors - I use my right hand
Not my left
Even tho I AM left handed

How many bollockings did I get at school for that, not my fault
Write left handed, play pool/snooker right handed, football right footed, cricket bowl right handed bat either
Ambidextrous with tools
they reckon lefties are better at a lot of things because we have to think righthanded due to most things being designed that way, hence us using more of our brain
Missed some out,
Scissors = R/H
Eating = fork in L/H
darts/throwing = R/H

Thinking about it, i'm right handed but when it's snowy/icy and i'm doing a running skid, my left leg is the one i stick out. Everyone else i've seen doing it has their right leg out first so i suppose i'm a bit of a freak

And IQ is 140
Might be something in this
i'm lefthanded too.
your right about the ink.
i hate all the books you have to right in,always awkward as the spine is in the way and make it hard to write in.
i have heard you could get left handed cheque books,so you can fill them out without the spine in the way.

Also left handed people are supposed to be better with languages as you use the right hand side of your brain (with the speech center in it) I got an A in french - Bien sur - MDR!!
My I.Q is 136 - 2 less than my dad and he always remnds me of it!! Grrrr

I am a totally boring right hander [though unlike stavros, I use my left hand to wank for obvious "variety is the spice of life" reasons
]
I don't think anyone mentioned it but you lefties are also better in general at art and music and basic creativity? Again as someone above said, it's because the right hand side of the brain [that controls motor functions for the left hand side of the body] also contains the bits that make you good at that?
I never though about chequebooks and stuff! What percentage of the population are left handed, anyone know?
But it has to be one of the funniest things to try and do
Up there with trying to run down the stupidly slidey and waxed bowling alley lanes

Im left handed. write, clean teeth, smoke drink lefty. Eat right handed though, use the computer mouse, and play with girls pussys with my right hand for some reason. oh well never mind
Another wrongun over here too... "cack handed"
Do everything left handed like writing etc, but I use a computer like a right handed person, eat like a right handed person, I can use right handed scissors and tin openers etc... wasnt a problem for me really.
But when it comes to golf or sport, tend to do stuff like a right handed person. Just something you deal with. some stupid people make a big deal out of it and open shops with just left handed items... why?
someone pass me the left hand screwdriver please

It was when i was a kid it was pointed out by my mates that i was the only one and now for some reason when i see kids playing in the winter, i automatically look to see if anyone else is the same as me. I tried sticking my right foot out first once and went arse over tit
