This won't be a fast car if that's what you're after

You will get beaten by the bloke in your punto sporting probably, should you try to race him

Spend the money on an RS Turbo instead.

When it boils down to it, no matter how well that's done, it's an XR3i. There's nothing wrong with that, if thats what you want but Kelv has one for sale on here for Ł500 that isn't pretending to be something else

The front wheel thing would really bug me - it's how I tell they're replicas (well, that the brakes and tapping on the wings)

The replica thing would bug me "is it real?" "no it's a look-a-like "

couldn't do it if it was me.

sounds like a silly question i know but why do the cossie replicas always look odd in some way even the good replicas you can always seem to tell even from a distance

I have no idea why people would want to own a car that has the locals on moped's claiming they can whoop a cossie

All that screams to me is, I want a cossie

The car for people with champagne ideas and lemonade pockets

See in my car, that is one of the best bits.

MEET LOCAL CHAV
Chav: Is it real?
Chip: No, its a fake.

Short sprint later
Chav: Lieing cunt it is a real one
Chip: dont let doug stirling catch you saying that

BUT when you have the looks but not the power/brakes/handling etc (ie just a replica rather than a cossie reshelled like mine) I agree, I would feel embarssed driving it cause its claiming performance it hasnt got!

Not properly they aint - the spoiler line is too high where it meets the rear quarter

aye same as Gracey, the rear quarters on Esc Cos's are actually higher than a standard Escort, thats what lets a lot of reps down

How does what wheels its driving effect how it "sits" and anyway they ARE also driving the front wheels on an escort :S

the way the wheels sit in the arch always gives it away normally, they just dont sit in the centre.

even the rear spoiler always just looks off

probably because they never use the genunie Ford O.E kit... maybe
