Does anyone know how you take out the sunroof cover (the thing that slides underneath)? I have a new clean one from the scrappy to go in, as mines manky.

 

How did you get the one out of the car at the scrappy??

 

Erm......with a bit of force LOL. Well i unscrewed the black metal frame thing, then just pulled it until it came out. But like i say i wasnt very careful at all....but wondered if there was a correct way to do it?

 

You wind the sunroof back into the roof to access the screws round the frame.

Then, you remove the sunroof magazine cartridge complete with glass from the roof by gently lifting the front edge and working it forwards so it comes out from the roof.

The sunshade then slides out from the rear of the runners.
