Subaru Legacy twin turbo problem

After me saying on a thread a while back how solid they are my mate has promtly fucked his completely

The cost of repair is expected to be about £3k and the car is a V-plate with 90k on the clock so not worth a fortune.

He's now considering breaking it, any idea what it might fetch being sold to a breaker and can anyone suggest somebody?

Everything works on the car bar the engine and the car is lcoated in Hertfordshire

Shame that mate......if he'd of been a couple of weeks earlier he could have had the engine out of my girlfriends dads car as it was MINT - even after the accident....
