LS or GS 450 or 460 i think mate.

4.5-4.6 v8, over 350bhp i think.

not super fast, but not super slow, auto and about 2 tons, proper luxury like.

could have been the newish hybrid IS 460h or whatever it's called - 3.5 V6 twinned with an electric motor. bet it still returns about 5mpg

There's also a LS series one on the way with a 5.0 V8 with electric motors slapped on it too

My dad has a Lexus GS 450h, its pretty nippy for an old mans car..

3.5 V6 petrol in the front (300bhp)

Electric motor in the back (200bhp)

but as it doesn't use them both at full power at the same time it is rate at something just under 350bhp. Either way it is pretty quick, especially when you accelerate from motorway speeds to 140+

I saw one the other day, came up alongside me at the lights, I was in my Bora, before I had chance to even think about lifting my foot off the clutch & planting the accelerator he was gone - the car just seemed to glide away at about 100mph!! LOL! Must admit I was very impressed - no noise at all - just disappeared in front of me!!!
