I've just got a new 8 mega pixel camera.

What size photos should I take?

I was always told to take photos on the biggest size possible but I'm wondering if this advice still stands with higher resolution cameras.

Advice and recommendations please.

don't know much but i take mine on the VGA setting,fook knows what that means.

they turn out small enough for here.

 

Take them on hi-res you can always resize the pics once you've downloaded them

 

always use max res if storage is not an issue

I took photos at the weekend using the max resolution, A3 size.

I might need to get myself some more storage though! Extra hard drive here we come!

 

biggest pics i can take with mine are around the 3.5mg mark, with a 2 gig memory car i don't have enough battery life to fill the card up but i can also take about 90 minutes of video with a full battery

 

I thought my battery ran down rather quickly! Now I know why! I've got a 4GB card and a 2GB one but I doubt I'll ever have enough battery power to fill them both up!
