Default escort camber

i have a 98 escort si and the front tyres on it have worn really bad on the inner edge. they have only done 4000 miles. I think the camber is out on it and was wondering if anyone does shorter bottom arms for theese to compensate for the neg camber.
cheers

firstly how much is the car lowered by? If it is standard ride height, then its likely your tracking is out, or you have knackered bushes.

like said above , unless it is stupidly low it will be the TCA bushes knackered , for some reason they eat wishbone bushes

my 97 si used to be the same , new set every 1000 miles but then it was driven hard

i was getting through a set of tyres every 2 months at one point

so i made my own modded lower arms with the ball joint moved in 10mm to sort out the neg camber.

they also have deflex poly bushes fitted.

make us an offer if you want em, still got em in the shed somewhere

its not the tracking or any worn bushes. i work in a garage and have checked all this and have had the wheel alignment done on the lasers but its still wearing tyres.
Did the modified arms sort the problem in the end?
