hi guys ive just finished putting my car back together after changing the tappets and cam belt. but it's not firing. the cams are timed up and the crank is timed up but i think i may have the other cog 1 or 2 teeth out. should it still fire?HELP.
did you make sure the rotor arm was lined up aswell in side the distrubutor ther is a littel notch on the rim of the dizzy.... and the bottom crank pully have a grove in it THATS NOT to be used to time it up
if you have done it right then it couldbe that the oil has to full up in the hydrolic lifters does it sound like its turning over faster than normal at all

cheack the dizzy m8 and re time it so you can see how far out the dizzy is if that ok then i would say the lifters need time to fill up had this happen to me many times
