Default Now this IS a good technical question IMO

Grey injectors...now if you run with the caps on you will melt your engine which tells us the cap is a restricter.

So what about green injectors or yellow injectors????If you took the caps off would you get MORE power from them plusa better spray pattern like the greys?

Remember the grey flow rate with CAPS on is 503cc!!!!

Or am i getting it all fucked up again?

if it's a serious technical question, why not post it in the dedicated forum cunningly titled "Technical help Q & A"?

To answer the question and ignore the other bollox...

The cap isnt a restrictor at all, its simply the wrong fooking cap for the injector pintle and as such, it fooks the spray pattern

Removing the "Correct" cap from an injector will do nothing for flow at all...

What exactly is the cap there for? I always thought it was to help the spray pattern. Is the port shape on a Cossie not good for the injector?

The grey is actually off an american car...not sure which some chevy at a guess!Obviously the spray pattern is for that designed engine....on the Cosworth this seems not suitable as i think Dingy blew an engine like that??????

I run without caps.

Does running without the caps decrease reliability? Cause if you run a breather back to the intake oily deposits and such are going to get on the injector and possibly cause it to clog shut or open.

Unless they've been drilled out to 3mm they'll be restricting the flow of the greys.

I'd take em out, drill em and put them back
