i have a oil leak on the gearbox on the top side right on the bell house gasket bit, dont fancy taking the damn thing of a again to change it or the gaskets could i use exhaust gum to stop it as its a very smal leak leading to puddles of oil building up on my driveway

 

try instant gasket or high temperature silicone, you can buy both from halfords. just apply it liberally to where its leaking or around the lot, that should stop it mate.
