Im in need of a PAS pump for my 2WD sapphire. I was wondering if the pump is the same as fitted to the 4x4 saph and escorts?

I know they are fitted the other side of the engine but are the bare pumps
still the same?

pumps should be the same
but there are so many fitting variations it might be specific to your engine

then again, most sierra's only use 2 sorts of pump, the little ones with a seperate resivour and the ones with the pump intergrated into them

What I often do is just check the part numbers at my local dealers, he is used to this as friend of mine.
His usuall saying is, "OK what don't you want to order today"!!

Pumps are the same just different Pullys and mounts on the different models of cosworth
