Has anyone got a 24v Cossie?
If you have one what mods have you done to it and did you notic the benefit?
Mines converted to 4x4 cossie spec and have not yet sorted a zorst or filter setup.
I'm a bit botherd about heat soak so will be thinking hard before a cone filter goes on

me
mine's got a zorst+filter but its been like this since i bought it so dunno the benefits
fitted nitrous to the thing and currently only on a measly 75bhp shot...
...it pulls like a train!
but then the bottle runs out
as for exhaust you have 2 options... 1) use a 2.9 12v exhaust and modify one of the 24v manifolds to fit
2) get a complete custom exhaust made up to fit the granada downpipes
mines on option 2, but most people got with the 1st as its cheap and easy
there is a full spec list n a few pics in the plictures+video galery of mine if you interested.

Does anyone have a 3.7 conversion on one of those 24v cossie lumps? I remember reading the Power Engineering blurb on one of those, sounded awesome, so much torque.

turbo 24v (std lump, just bolton turbo) vs std cossie
24v will piss it, they make about 300bhp easy
but then a turbo 24v is hardly a standard engine anymore really is it. so not a fair comparison.

nobody produces an "off the shelf" bolt on conversion
so cost is an issue.
ts not like with the 12v ones where turbotechnics made conversions for em you can pick up for a few hundred notes, youre looking ata fair old wedge to get all the manifolds and pipeowrk made up + management etc. etc. etc.
its the main reason i'm not going down that route... cost

I defo won't be going the turbo way forward as it only does 38miles to Ł10 worth of fuel around town
but tis fun and i do use the car as my daily run around
As for 24v versus a std cossie then yeah a std none turbo 24v will run even with a std saph coss.
I tryed it against a 2wd E reg saph and my 4x4 kept up no probs

I think mine is going 3.2. A 3.7 bottom end is sooooooo expensive. If anyone knows where I can pick one up for decent money then I'll go for it....
I'm looking for 270+ BHP and 270+ lb ft to go with it normally aspirated, running a different plenum chamber, ported heads and cam timing mods, tubular fanimolds and remapped EEC-IV / Unichip....
