Hi, I noticed the other day when I closed the boot, the whale tail had come lose. After closer inspection the bracket that holds the centre support has snapped in half. Any idea of part number, or where I can get one from and the price. My local Ford dealer had a look on the system; it lists all the rivets and screws but no bracket. Thanks in advance for advice.

 

not easy to find a new one, but very easy to make one, I made a new one for my car out of stainless steel plate I think you will find this the best bet.

look on ebay, david at the cosworth shop has these in stock in the uk along with all other clips a brackets all new a gen ford.

 

All ordered, just awaiting delivery, but they are a little more expensive then I thought they would be.
