On the standard head hasket, SOUTHAMTON UNIVERSITY were having to do head gaskets on STANDARD BHP engines when the did the NVH testing for FORD/COSWORTH.
Standard one is not worth having really even with standard power.
A group a one YB 0611 will cope most say up to around the 400bhp mark, and is FIBROUS so a very good one, as it will cope with any slight imperfections in flatness of head/block much better than meatal ones.

In my full gasket set from motorcraft was victor reinz head gasket. Can I use it with no fear for power around 300-350?

At the end of the day a gasket failure isn't a great event, if you have it already I'd just use it. It's not like 300-350 bhp is massive in the scheme of all things Cossie.

Victor Reinz make the oe ford one and the group a.
A std one will not last as long as a group a, if you look very carefully on the end top side you will see it's number faintly printed.
Victor reinz also make a SINGLE PIECE METAL GASKET!!

I've seen many cossies running 300+ bhp with std gaskets

imo its a lot of hype gasket failer is mainly due to the early 2wd heads not being that good around the water jacket area...and people drivin cars when they know they have a problem eg leaks overheating etc

And poor fitment surfaces must be spotless and a good quality torque wrench should be used

I personally cannot see any difference between a std and a grp a only the numbers

The number is a std part number.
There are of course different opinions on this subject, only you can decide what you are happy with.
They are made differently, if I could find the letter from V/R I would post it but can't, probably not got anymore.
Southampton UNI had perfect heads blocks etc all with NO MILEAGE, and only 10 minutes on them and they STILL failed.
I do appreciate what COSTINA says and to a large extent it is right, but certainly not all failures are due to this.

the 1261 is a standard small turbo escort cosworth gasket isn't it? in which case it's just as good ( probably better ) then a Grp A 0611
