it would take some serious braking to warp the discs.

i'm having the same problem with my turbo. it shakes to fuck under braking. the discs are new, my tyres are fine and all of the bushes around the front end are fine so i'm now thinking it must be something to do with the steering rack.

is yours only under braking aswell? you'd know if it was your tyre balancing cos it would do it constantly.

Look for discs warped, bushes worn.

track control arm bushes and/or antirollbar mounts worn - has it been polybushed?

you need to do the whole fornt end (whole car preferably) costs about 110 quid for the bushes and about 300 quid for someone with a ramp to fit them.

If you can feel it surge through the pedal it's warped disk but if you feel it maily in the steering wheel it's bushings.
