Hello everyone,

Update on the problem i had with install of stage 2 Pectel board,
(afterwards the engine did not fire) (for those who can remember Sourire
The board was send back to Burton and they fixed the problem (reprogrammed the chip)

Now after a year (finally!) the car is back on the road (before it was hit on the rear quarter while sitting parked, so new rear panel, bumper and rear beam +diff & driveshafts where fitted,

Then the Pectelboard + 3bar map, greens, -31, new spark plugs c59c were installed, peak boost set to 23 psi (hold =+- 22psi). When picking it up by the garage the car was totally transformed!! it flew Sourire

The only annoying thing now is: ONLY in 2nd gear and then flooring it the car hestitates and jerks, the boost needle flashes up and down, and the car jerks heavily. This is not the case when i do part throttle,
In other gears 1-3-4-5 when i floor it, there is absolutely no problem
in those gears the car pulls like a bullet.
.. I wonder if its the spark plugs or perhaps the bailey dump valve?
or to much boost?
(i don't know if in the bayjoo chip there is a max boost limit set).
Anyone an idea what would cause this?

Check the plug gaps i would set them at 0.6 mm

And the amal valve

 

As above and get a group a coil if not already.

What could be wrong with the AMAL valve? (i heard somewhere that with certain chips the amal valve needed rejetting, but Burtons advert never mentioned such a thing) But i'll correct the plug gaps
and order a group A coil. I'll keep you posted what will be the result.
