They always remove discs from the front just incase of spinal cord damage

Can you eat & drink as normal or does it hurt? I'm thinking there must be some internal soreness/swelling making it very uncomfortable

4 years ago me mum had the same op but due to her other disc playing up she is going to have to have another op on the other side next year.

Only strips as far as i can see up close. Aint looked at it much as i'm not great around wounds etc etc

I had to, one of my discs in my neck was pushing its self into my spinal cord and l had lossed feeling in my left leg..
If l didnt have it done then may of lossed use of left leg
So no choise really was there
