Basically, there's a coalition goverrnment that is Hamas led. The President has disbanded the government and declared a state of emergency thanks to Hamas seeking to "liberate" Palestine through violence.

Bottom line - it's an internal civil war, and for once, the Israelis are sitting back and wondering what the hell they're playing at!

The Yanks use the UN for there own gain as and when it pleases them. I'm more worried now than I was 12 months ago, with the Russians starting to flex there muscles again, it could easily escelate into something very big.

i wouldn't worry much to be honest. the Isrealis will fuck them up long before it becomes to much of a problem. simple fact is no one wants to get their troops involved whilst they concentrate on killing each other. the yanks are bricking it purely because hamas are fundamentalists and wouldn't think twice about bombing US embassies in other countries.

ITs imploding now and will be a right mess, if Hamas gains the foot hold, which looks like they have in Gaza its going to get even more messy as they wont to iradicate Isreal. SO then Isreal will get involved and drag the whole place back into conflict.

ITs a shame as i do feel for the genuine Palastine people, but now they are not untited well god knows whats going to happen, ones thing for certain more blood shed.

Iran seems to be playing a more hands on roll in the Middle East since Saddam has gone...... Not good..... THere only two powers now in the Middle East relly Israel and Iran
